You can get a fresh perspective of Kenya’s scenery by flying into the Masai Mara. Additionally, it gives you more time to spend around the park and make use of the amenities at your preferred lodging.
Many people’s dreams come true when they visit the Masai Mara, and this safari gives you three days to experience one of Africa’s most diverse habitats. You can view more than just the “big five” of an African safari.
You are also invited to discover more about the fascinating Maasai culture, which all call this place home. The connection to the land is ingrained in the very souls of the nomadic tribes who have roamed these areas for ages. You should not pass up the opportunity to visit one of their communities.
Your devoted Kenyan tour guide will pick you up from the airport when you get at the national reserve. You will be the only person in your group, and you will decide when to go on game drives and how your day will go.

Olengugih Safaris Guide will come and pick you up in time for your trip to the Masai Mara from Wilson Airport, whether you are staying in a hotel or apartment, arriving at Joma Kenyatta International Airport that morning, or both. Enjoy the opportunity to gaze out over the ancient lands that are passing beneath you; it is thought that this is where the ancestors of mankind first developed.
When you land at the Masai Mara airstrip, your driver will meet you there and transport you to your lodging in time for lunch service. This is your moment to start relaxing and adjusting to new surroundings. You should leave on your first game drive as soon as you’re situated in and feeling at ease. This is your chance to perhaps spot some of the big five on an African safari and get a glimpse of the Masai Mara’s grasslands.
Once you get back to your camp or lodge, dinner will be provided, and the rest of the evening is yours to do as you like. The majority of lodging options feature viewing terraces or rooms where you can keep an eye on the park’s nighttime activity. Your safari in Kenya’s first day includes the following:
Although the scenery on your flight into the Masai Mara was breathtaking, you can get a different perspective while at the park, high in the sky. You may watch the dawn break from above by booking a hot air balloon flight above the Masai Mara plains for an extra $425. When you get back down, a brisk bush breakfast will be waiting for you with views of the lush surroundings.
Game drives can be added to your day, and you can decide whether to spend the entire day in the reserve with a picnic lunch or to head back to the lodge for lunch and some downtime before your next adventure. You also have the opportunity to visit a Masai village during this period of your journey. You will also be given the opportunity to visit the village and possibly one of the residents’ homes in addition to traditional dancing. $20 more is required to participate in this activity.
After spending the day on the plains and seeing the big five as well as:
On the Masai Mara, the break of dawn is a magical time when animals awaken from their nighttime nap or make their way back to the well-crafted burrows. We provide you the opportunity today to enjoy the very magnificent experience of hearing the dawn chorus across these plains.
You will be driven back to your lodging for a late breakfast and to check out after you have enjoyed the dawn. You will travel through the park to get to the airfield, where you might get one more look at these magnificent animals.
When you arrive at the airport, you will board your flight to return to Kenya’s capital, where a driver will meet you at the terminal and transport you to your hotel, place of residence, or the airport.
