This six-day safari visits the excellent Masai Mara National Reserve in the southwest and the fantastic Lewa Conservancy in Laikipia in northern Kenya. It is an authentic excursion for people going on their first safari or for more seasoned safari travellers because it offers some of the best game-watching anyplace in Africa.
Both places are excellent places to see animals. You notice the enormous mammals as soon as you land on the airstrip at either camp. Giraffes and zebras are common. You have a very excellent chance of seeing both types of rhinos, elephants, and the graceful gerenuk in the Lewa Conservancy. Wild dogs are another potential threat. Masai Mara is also one of the best areas in Africa to see leopards, lions, and cheetahs because of the abundance of big cats there.
Visit the Masai Mara between (about) late July and the end of September to see the Great Migration, during which hundreds of thousands of migrating wildebeest cross the Mara River into Kenya and Tanzania. This is another great phenomenon to spot while on air.

Transfer to Wilson Airport for your planned flight to Lewa Downs Conservancy after a lovely morning and brunch. Your one-hour flight departs at 10:20 and arrives at 11:20. On arrival, you will be received by our guide at the Lewa airstrip and driven to Lewa Houses, where you can check in and enjoy a meal and some downtime while en route. Go on a game drive in the afternoon and stay until dusk.
You will rise to a morning game drive and then come back for breakfast. proceed to a half-day game drive to explore the conservancy after that: Lewa Conservancy includes the vast Ngare Ndare forest and is home to a variety of species. The wildlife conservancy is a recognized leader in providing substitute safari experiences and protecting the black rhinoceros. Lewa Downs is a sustainable tourism model that has a long history of success worldwide. Elephants, lions, cape buffaloes, rhinoceroses, and leopards are among the big 5 animals that can be found here. Eastern black rhinoceros and Grevy’s zebras are both found in the greatest concentrations in Lewa. Leopards, bush babies, foxes, aardvarks, and caracals are frequently seen at night. Take a stroll around the forest in the afternoon, then relax while using the hotel’s services.
After a morning game drive, head back to the hotel for breakfast. After that, make the one-hour, 25-minute shuttle to Lewa Airstrip for your scheduled morning flight to Masai Mara. Arrive early enough to be picked up by the guide, then be transferred to the camp while on a wildlife drive. Arrive for lunch and a nap. Afternoon game drives should last until dusk.
Drive a game vehicle in the early morning, then return to the camp for breakfast. After that, depart for a full-day game drive with a stop at the camp for lunch. Take a wildlife drive in the early morning, then return to the camp for a lavish breakfast buffet and some rest. Afternoon flight back to Nairobi; transfer to the airport; midday. Arrive in plenty of time to be picked up from Wilson Airport and transported to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or your accommodation.
